I had bought a set of door hinge bushings to firm up and lift a sagging driver's side door, before I had the loaner truck. Which it turns out, had a very solid and tight set of door hinges. So I took off the existing hinges (obsessive labeling after years of "oh, I won't need that"...). Then sanded, rust treated, and prepped the replacement hinges and hardware.
Then while I was at it, I sanded, prepped, and painted the door jamb section with the semi-gloss black I plan to use on the interior steel. it's a little hard to see but it came out very nicely, with a more solid door, and I got a lesson on adjusting car door spacing for free!
